Craftsy Block Of the Month

Does everyone know about Craftsy I just love this site.
If not check it out you will find some wonderful inspiration.
I am following the block of the month and decided to use up some scraps from my last quilt done for work.

Well I know it's not tuesday but here is my working of the twisted buttonhole stitch, I like how this stitch is working and it will be one I plan on using more in my work.

So here is a picture of my wall hanging with all the progress I have made on it so far.

TAST

I have recently joined TAST on Sharon Boggin's blog www.pintangle.com
I have followed these in recent years, but decided to sign up even thought it's late in April.
This week's stitch is French knots, which is one of my favorite stitches.
So I thought I would show you one of my pieces I'm working on which I have lots of french knots on it.

This is a shot of the whole quilt top.

 Here is the block that I have finished so far, my favorite spot to put french knots is on the seams along with other stitches.

I hope you enjoy looking at my work.

Class

My first teaching class was a success, students were very happy with all the information and practice they received.

I have a second class scheduled for April 28 hopefully it will be a success as well.
My nerves are much calmer now that the first one is over, so here is pics of some of my students hard at work, not all wanted there picture taken.

Sick

Hello everyone I haven't fell off the face of the earth, lol we have just been very sick in my household. I have had another nasty sinus cold which needed medication to get rid of.

But did manage to get some sewing done during that time, finished up another sample quilt for work.

This line of fabric came in and were all trying to figure out what it was from, a customer told me the name of the movie but alas I have forgotten.

I am really looking forward to teaching my first class on Saturday in free motion quilting. Pics will follow.

Teaching

Well it happened this time I have 4 students signed up for my machine quilting class at work, so I have decided to add more workshops as well.

So this time it's a go I start my first class next month getting excited now to fine tune my lesson plan.
